HEKA warm plate for chicken, 40cm x 40cm

"Contact"-warmplates create a luke-warm surface at which the chicken will warm themselves. The height must be regulated for the chicken to be able to touch the warm plate with their backs. (In comparison: the "usual" HEKA-warm plates use much more power to create warmth all the way below the plate, heating the whole "area" - additionally available with real thermostates for saving energy.) It is advantageous for the chicken to not only warm their backs, but instead be in a completely warm environment (incl. the floor). However, these contact-warm plates do a great job at energy saving!

The advantage of these contact-plates compared to other contact-plates on the market:
- nearly 100% "made in Germany" (solely the heating elements made in italy)
- perfect insulation at the top, no warmth is lost!
- bottom side is made of powder coated aluminium for better temperature circulation

Especially the last point is relevant: other contact-warmplates loose a lot of their surface due to the practical and easy adjustable legs while our HEKA contact-warmplates use a little space as possible for the legs. This creates much more usable surface.
In comparison: our model 20x20cm has nearly as much warming surface as the 25x25cm model of the black contact-warmplates we also sell.
