Mode of efficacy:
INTER Biosilikat Spray consists of diatomaceous earth, which is a natural mineral. It was made from microscopically small shells of dead diatoms. The crystalline structure of the silicate destroys the wax layer of the pests so that they dry out and die off after a few hours resp. after up to two days.
Range of efficacy:
Inter Biosilikat Spray is effective against mites (esp. red mites), ants, fleas, woodlice, silverfish, grain beetles, roaches etc.
Application:
Inter Biosilikat Spray is suitable for surfaces in small animal keeping like poultry-, pigeon- and rabbit houses. Also suitable for the environment of pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and bird and for pest control in living areas e.g. terraces, kitchens and basements.
Method of use and dosage:
INTER Biosilikat Spray is ready to use. Shake the tin well before and during treatment. Spray evenly on surfaces where pests preferably stay like mite nests, hideouts and running areas from a distance of approx. 30 cm. At first the coating is moist but it will dry off quickly and leave an even, white layer of kieselguhr.
Treatment of small animal houses esp. for poultry and pigeons: Especially against mites the Spray should be sprayed extensively and visibly. Treat the hiding places of mites like perches, cracks, corners and cavities thoroughly.
Environment of pets: Treat the sleeping spots of dogs and cats or spray a dust barrier of at least 0.5 cm width.
Domestic areas: Spray into dry wall crevices and joints, hatching- and running areas or spray a dust barrier of at least 0.5 cm width.
